Advanced Metal Braces Self- Ligating Brackets .
In conventional metal braces ligatures and colorful bands are there ,to secure the metal wire in place.
In self-ligating braces , a sort of a trap door is used instead of ligatures.
This trap door like material keep the wire in place. Self-ligating brackets are also easier to clean.
CERAMIC BRACES:
In ceramic braces, instead of metal , the brackets are made of ceramic. It is less noticeable, and colour matched to your teeth and is more durable due to ceramic . Its more comfortable than its metal counterpart .
LINGUAL BRACES :
If you want that braces are not visible as you smile or speak, then lingual braces may work best for you. More costly than the conventional metal orthodontic device.
INVISALIGN
It is the invisable way to straighten teeth. Modern teeth straightening method. Like lingual braces, invisalign makes it unnoticeable that you ‘re improving your smile.
The custom –made aligners are made of clear plastic and is removable too.
Depending on which teeth need to be moved ,your teethwel orthodontist will provide you a series of sets of aligners.
You will wear each set of aligners for approximately 2 weeks,until your treatment is complete. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently move your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist plans for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten as periodic adjustments.
The best part of the whole process is that most people won’t even know you’re straightening teeth.

Q)) What should I expect during my ortho-treatment?
Your treatment will begin with impressions and imaging of your teeth, to produce a set of custom aligners designed to slowly move your teeth into alignment.
You’ll wear those aligners at all times with the exception of when you are eating, brushing or flossing your teeth.You will check in from time to time to monitor progress.
Q)) Will I need to follow any special guidelines when treatment is complete ?
Once your treatment is complete ,you will no longer wear clear correct aligners, but will require a removable retainer to help retain the new position of your teeth and prevent them from moving back from to their prior position.
